Sailing and catamaran days are a smaller fleet than the panga scene, mostly sunset or half-day trips on the Pacific and the occasional lake cruise. You are a guest, not the skipper, unless a listing says otherwise. Ask how many people are booked, whether drinks are included, and where you actually leave from. The good ones sell the pace, not a party.
